I recently went on a Thomson Holiday to Mexico 2 months ago. Although not Thomson's fault there were a few issues with the holiday which we made the Thomson rep aware of. He was very helpful and understood our reasons for complaining & explained we would receive some money back. The rep whilst in Mexico told us we would receive this money 28 days after our return. On our return to the UK we waited for over 28 days and had still not received any corespondence, we then contacted the Thomson store in golden square Warrington where we had booked the holiday to be greeted by a very rude member of staff that really didn't want to help and told us she couldn't give us the information. Eventually she told us it was 28 days from the date the complaint had been processed and that was it. When that 28 day limit arrived we still had not received a cheque. We then contacted the store again and were greeted by the same rude member of staff that refused to speak to anyone but the lead passenger, the lead passenger then called and spoke to the same lady who was again rude and snotty who said that we were wrong AGAIN and it was actually 28 working days from when it was proceed. It has now been 27 working days and there has been no correspondence or cheque. Although we would not complain so much about the company we certainly will not be booking through the golden square store again, we have been made to feel like an inconvenience by someone that clearly does not want to do that job.
