Disgusted by your company! Leaving a young girl outside at night on her own after pre-booking a taxi 2 and a half hours in advance after finishing work at a care home. After speaking to a rude Liverpudlian who we later found out was a night Supervisor was not only disgustingly rude to my daughter when she called asking where the taxi was which didn't turn up on time but then proceeded to then cancel her taxi and then cancel it again after another member of staff re-booked it. How can you justify leaving a young girl stood out on the street at night like that? Yes she was angry but the behaviour she received from a SUPERVISOR was much worse. Never will I ever use your company again and I will ensure everyone I now doesn't either!

BOOKED A TAXI AT 9,30AM FOR 12.00PM PICKUP FOR TRAIN STATION NEVER ARRIVED AND WHEN I RANG THEM THEY WERE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND RUDE,AVOID

Absolute joke of a company, left on the side of the road in the middle of the night with a 7 year old in the back, when i rang the operator to express my concerns his reply was "just f**k off" AMAZING complete disregard for my childs safety well done Abba!!!!

Absolutely appalling service from ABBA cars. Pre-booked taxi to get my 90 year old parents to granddaughter's local church wedding. Despite my mum ringing to confirm the day before, the taxi turned up 25 minutes late, and only after 4 further calls from my mum. To say she was anxious is an understatement! This is no way to treat customers!

PLEASE, DO NOT BOOK A TAXI THROUGH THIS COMPANY FOR ANY EARLY MORNING AIRPORT TRANSFER............!!l

On March 18th, we were due to be collected at 5.45am to be taken to Manchester Airport - the booking was made with Abba Cars at least a week earlier (not 100% sure of the date) and I rang again the night before our trip to confirm that the taxi was still scheduled (I was assured it was and I even received a confirmation email stating the date & time of the pick-up)

Guess what - no taxi at 5.45 the following morning !!

At 6.10am, having made at least a dozen attempts to contact the Abba office by phone (no answer to any of my calls), we promptly loaded up our car & dashed to the airport, just about managing to make our flight before gate closure & picking up the usual, extortionate long-stay car parking fees for the period we were away, along with a stress-filled start to our holiday

I promptly rang Abba on arrival at our holiday destination but, yet again, no answer, so I sent them an email thanking them for ruining the start to our holiday and for an appalling customer experience

I didn't even get the courtesy of a response to my mail, let alone an apology

Absolutely disgusting customer service from a company who clearly couldn't care less about it's treatment of would-be passengers !!

Email from a colleague ':
I think we need to change taxi companies.

Could you please raise a complaint against the taxi company. The taxi I was in was in a poor state of repair and so could not accelerate or even manage more than 40 mph on the motorway. I found this quite disturbing and unsafe with trucks diverting around us.

Either they improve or we change companies.

I'm on tears after the treatment I've received from this company. Out of 5 booked journeys in the past fortnight (all identical) one has turned up on time, at the right place. Despite double checking to the extent that I'm sure I seemed like a deranged loon, cars still failed to turn up and (most worryingly) on several occasions no record of a booking could be found. Most recently, had a call to say my taxi was waiting for me at the booked place - an HOUR early!!! Had confirmed this particular booking TWICE so not great. Had to rebook for correct time and made the lady read the booking out to me. As I should have predicted, taxi didn't show and upon enquiring was told there was no record of a booking...
As a newly widowed mum of 6 trying to juggle nursery and childminder drop offs before caching the train to work, this is the sort if stress I can do without. While most drivers,(when they appeared) have been pleasant, factor in one particular driver who is incredibly rude, aggressive and downright miserable (screaming at my 4 year old when his shoe touched the seat climbing on to it) and you have all the ingredients for a great start to the working day. Abba, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

If I could award no stars for this taxi firm I would
This firm is unreliable and uncharitable
My 85 year old father rang for a taxi and when going to the hallway of his sister's - who her self is 93, he fell.
The taxi arrived and the driver rang to say he was outside. When my Dad explained he would be there as soon as he could manage to get himself up the driver waited and then rang again to see how long he would be.
My father could not get up and managed to open the front door and when the taxi driver saw him on the floor he drove away!
I don't think that is a very charitable thing to do he could have made sure he did not require any emergency services.
Then to top it all when he did manage to get up and rang for another taxi he was told that nobody would come for him! No apology just phone put down

This must be the most unreliable taxi service in the world. They ask you to use the App but the taxi is never, I mean never, on time. On the last two occasions they were 20 minutes late but they never contact you t let you know in advance. When you phone they say you are next on the list.......so if you don't phone you will be waiting forever.

Seriously, an awful customer experience. Late for trains, appointments and meetings.

If you have an alternative mode of transport then you would be better served by using it. An awful company and a shocking attitude to paying customers.

I am very annoyed with Abba taxis as I booked a cab for this morning which didn't turn up. I nearly missed a coach because of this. I rang them a couple of times up to 15 mins after the cab was due and all I got was a voice telling me the cab would be dispatched shortly. Not good enough!! Do not use Abba if you want to arrive on time!

Would have given 0 stars if I could. Nearly 20 minutes late to take my daughter to work which meant she was late for work. No apology when you ring up to ask where the taxi is, only a surly woman. I'm obviously interrupting her day. Never use these again.

DISGRACEFUL!

I booked a can to the station to get a train, didn't turn up, called them - they hadn't bothered to dispatch one. ABBA are the worst taxi company in Warrington by a country mile. Stay away

I would highly recommend this taxi firm. Our 13 year old needed a lift to school and back 10 miles each way for 5 months. Abba provided us with a very reliable driver (Richard). It was reassuring to know she would have the same driver for the whole 5 months. He was always very punctual and she felt safe on her journeys with him.

The owner phil bailey is making taxi drivers do account jobs
for various companies
He is getting paid £2 per mile but paying the drivers £1 per mile,
ripping them off basically,nice piece of work.
He charging them £100 per week for the radio,
To all the drivers,there is a new company coming to warrington who
will pay account work as per tarifs.
You are self employed and you should do account work if you wanted.

On the past 2 occasions of booking via the app to get a taxi home from work my booking has been cancelled. I then last night receive a phone call 1 minute asking if I still would like my pre booked taxi. This is unprofessional and inconvenient as I then have to wait outside for another taxi to be sent. If I knew of a more reliable local taxi firm I would not use abba again. And as for staff attitude when you call for a taxi it depends who you speak to one person is helpful and the other lady needs lessons in customer service.

Shocking!!! Booked a taxi for work an hour and half before!!, rang up and they lied said it wouldn't be long, so we resorted to booking a taxi from Harry's which turned up within 15 minutes of booking!.
Then one of Abbas drivers finally arrive without no call or text to say it was dispatched , just knocked on my door which my partner answered and said I was already gone.

Awful taxi service never had a taxi on time, defiantly using Harry's a lot more :)

Recently used abba cars while I was without a car. The app made process very simple and easy. Great way to keep me updated when car would arrive etc. Every car I booked turned up promptly, great rapour built with drivers and the easy to read meter was an added asset. Found my journeys this week very reliable. Haven't used company for over 3 years, vast improvement but the introduction of app has helped massively with communication and ease

Abba used to be reliable. But recent experience is anything but - 90 minutes for a pick up in Manchester booked 2 weeks earlier (and had to direct the driver as he didn't know his way round central Manchester). In the past few days pre-booked a taxi for a train to London. The taxi didn't turn up - no explanation - when chased advised they were busy. My husband with young daughter in tow drove me to try to get to station, and caught train by skin of teeth as it was running 5 mins late. Taxi did arrive - 30 min late - too late to catch the train (ticket had cost £200!). Staff on phone not interested, and no way of formally complaining. Not using again - and advising others to avoid also.

If you care for the safety of your children, DO NOT use this firm. Parking illegally and in a dangerous spot, the driver then decided to sit and complete paperwork, blocking the crossing for the children getting to the school and blocking the road for the teachers and parents who were trying to get access.

When he finally raised his head, oblivious to the havoc he was causing, he then decided to perform a 3 point turn, rather than follow the one way system that any normal person manages.

When contacted about this behaviour, the firm were not interested in the slightest. Shocking.

I urge parents throughout Warrington to consider the safety of their children and avoid this company.

Terrible service, we pre booked a taxi and booked it half a hour earlier than needed to ensure we were on time for a suprise party, but the taxi was 1hr 30 mins late !The staff on the phones lied to us and kept saying it was 5 mins away, it would of been better if the told the truth, and we would have found another way of getting there!

Do not use this company, pre booked taxi for 7.15 for a restaurant reservation at 8 giving us plenty of time. The taxi eventually arrived turned 8. We were constantly fobbed off when we called. It completely ruined our night, stay away from this cowboy taxi firm.

Had the misfortune to use Abba last night but will never use them again. Pre-ordered two taxis 24 hours in advance to take us to a restaurant for 7pm. First rang them when they were 10 mins late and was told the first taxi was 2 mins away and the second was ten mins. They even told us the road they were on. Absolute rubbish as first taxi eventually arrived 25 mins late and the second was 45 mins late. The second taxi driver drove so incredibly slow that my friends arrived at the restaurant 45 mins late and 1hr 15 mins after the taxi should have picked them up for a 15 min journey. No one apologised and the drivers say they are just told where to go next so can only assume it's total mismanagement in the control room.

If I cud give -5 stars I would.
The WORST taxi service I have encountered in my 46yrs!!
They have been late now for 3 weeks on the trot therefore making me late for work customer service is poor, they lie where your taxi is!! Wouldn't mind I rang up half an hour before it was due to check it was all booked on time and got told yes!!! TOTAL LIE!! This week it was half an hour late!!
AVOID LUKE THE PLAGUE! There's plenty more reliable taxi firms in Warrington.

This company is a complete joke we booked our taxi for New Year the day before for 130am. We waited no taxi I know new year taxis run late but we had been waiting half hour so my husband rang up its running late they said. Then he got a text to say it's on its way still no taxi we had been waiting an hour my husband then rang up and they told him we wernt on the system!!! How can this be when we rang up The DAY BEFORE making sure we had a secure taxi. We decided to start walking home ??then finally the taxi driver rang my husband and we got our taxi. This can't needs to look at customer service and not make their customers hour or so late will NOT be using these again

It's becoming a regular occurance of this taxi company not turning up on time. But today, after booking my taxi well in advance and as usual them not turning up on time they made my toddler miss his appointment at the doctors. With them being in high demand I was unable to rebook an appointment and was left with nothing but a very upset and very poorly little boy! They obviously need to stop taking the amount of jobs they have at one time. I received no apology and quite frankly am disgusted in the behaviour of this company!!

I have been using Abba Cars for many years now and yes I sometimes have a delay on my taxis, but never have I experienced rude control staff. I am disgusted at the amount of people slating this company. Obviously doing a high amount of jobs each week not every journey can be on time. Maybe the people writing these comments have nothing better to do with their time??? overall I will continue using Abba for my self and my company as they are cheap, reliable and helpful. I think Phil is doing a fantastic job improving the company and the staff that he has.

The only reason they get 1 star is because I cannot find a way to give them none. Incompetent and rude don't begin to cover it. It actually must be more effort to provide appalling service then to operate efficiently. No matter how far you have to travel, walk - you'll get there quicker.

Awful service, taxI arrived 30 mins late, rang abba twice who advised I wad the ne g car out in my area, was collected by the driver who then stated there are 18 jobs waiting in the area, also the driver I was allocated had a horrible attitude after I stated I wanted to stop off at the bank. I believe it is there job to have a taxi arrive on time to cater to your needs. I understand the problem with them running a little late or there being a delay, however it is the lies told by the company which cause numerous issues.. I was nearly 40 minutes late for work becausr they would not turn down the custom. However all they have done is left themselves with bad reviews and they are eventually loosing custom. I would never use abba service again.

Terrible customer service on the phone and in the office my boyfriend lost his wallet in one of the taxis and had one of the girls on the desk phone the driver and tell us he had found it.. 24hours later still no wallet after her telling us it would be in the main office this morning.. Go to the office and ask about it to be told to go home and ring back at 6, after ringing bk the office to be told the driver still isn't in work and they will ring us when they have got in contsct .. All in all no one has helped us and we still have no wallet. All it took was for the driver to drop it off like I've had previous exprince with them when I have left something in the car before of for someone to tell us exactly what's going on! Zero stars

Would give them zero stars if I could. Booked taxi for hospital appointment. Still had not turned up an hour after it was booked for. Phoned Abba several times, but made no difference. Missed the hospital appointment - The next available one was 9 days later. Not allowed to go back to work until signed off, so lost 9 days of work because taxi did not turn up.

Yet again abba cars failed this morning to pick us up we ordered a taxi last night for 5.50am, at which point the operator said shouldn't be a problem which didn't fill us with confidence, this morning we decided to drive at 6.00am as Abba failed to pick us up, they did arrive at 6.05 however had this would have been to late and we would have lost our train tickets to London, I'm new to Warrington and this is the second time Abba have failed, I would advise anyone not to use them. I have nothing against Abba apart from there poor service, we will not be using them again

No stars ! Booked a taxi the night before for 8:30 am and stressed that it was a school run. The taxi was late, after a call to the office the taxi was sent to the wrong address. Taxi finally turned up 25 minutes late which meant my son was late for school. Received a call at 10:30 am to say that our taxi was outside (a neighbours house) . Complete incompetence, a costly one, as we will not be using these taxis again. If you need reliability, don't use these try direct taxis or someone else

This is by far the worst taxi company in Warrington.
Tonight I was disgusted with the service, I had £8.50 in change, not ridiculous change, 50ps 20ps and four pound of it was in pound coins, wouldn't of took a minute to count, which I had already done and then bagged it so it was easier and quicker for the driver, but yet he still refused to take the money of me (would understand if the money was in 1ps and 2ps) so as I had no other way of getting home, my boyfriend had to get In contact with his friend, to ask for pound coins or a note as this was the only things the driver would take. During the taxi journey the driver got a phone call and with him being Pakistani , he took the call In his own language, which I thought was just damn right rude, unprofessional and made me feel particularly uncomfortable. Not to mention any other time I have used Abba cars the taxi journey only cost around £8.00 where as this journey cost £9.50. I will not be ordering a taxi from this company again.

No stars service. But you cannot select. Disgraceful service! Charged twice the price charged when rang to make booking. Quoted seven pounds charged eighteen pounds
For 1way. Booked 2way journey in advance. Should have picked us up at 22.15 rang at 22.30.told we had to wait anothsr15mins. Advised them we had a small child of which they knew as already travelled the out journey. 10.35 they rang asking if we still needed taxi. Told them yes as stuck in rural area with a small child
23.00pm still no show. Stuck in the rain with a small child. Lucky a passer by stopped and took pity on us. Rang taxi firm to inform still waiting. They hung u. Had the cheek to ring me after 23.00pm to complain they are waiting and if we had wanted to cancel we should have phoned them! Never use again and never recommend. Rude and unreliable as well as liars

On Sunday 7th July my friend and I waited 30 minutes for a taxi to take us to Manchester airport the taxi was booked the previous day for 4 15 -am
At 4 20 I rang abba and was told. It was on the way a green skoda was arranged at 4 30 I rang again but they said it would be arriving in a couple of minuets now a people carrier still no car
After another 10 minuets I rang again and asked to speak to the supervisor and I said I wouldn't pay the driver and his answer was no pay and would cancel taxi
At 4.45 a car pulled up the driver went the longest way he could find making comments about punctures and a delay and various other comments
Never again the are a total joke

Abba are the worst taxi firm In the world! Let alone Warrington, 3 times this week they have made me late for work, don't lie to me and tell me it's on it's ways when it's obviously not!!!! I do not reccomend!!! And not to mention I get charged a different fare to the same destination every week! And also... The woman who works on the phones is SO RUDE!!!

Terrible service. Always get an Abba taxi on a Friday from Tesco's. The person on the switch board gives you a time, double it. What a crap service and when you call to complain there attitude stinks. Will never use again. My husband has Parkinson's that why we use taxi's now. But to wait in the cold for well over an hour every time is ridiculous. In future we will use someone else, there are hundreds of taxi firms in Warrington. Tesco's should pull there contract. We are not the only ones to complain. Stand outside Tesco's on a Friday and here lads of people kept waiting for Abba cars.
