Absolutely disgusting attitude from the staff phoned and booked a taxi they said an hour wait so phoned up for an update they said the can't find my booking and that there fully booked so taking no more bookings then got all in a mood with me because I said that's not good enough when we've been waiting so long and put the phone down on me i know this happenes A Lot at ABBA TAXI a joke of a company and I hope someone else opens another taxi service again soon as these are treating customers disgusting because people have no real other choice but to go to them

Absolutely horrific at night when you expect your taxi to be what it normally is after 12pm nope they put on £6 more I have proof and I was sober so I recorded the whole journey I am 3 minutes away from town of where I got the taxi and it cost me £12 to get home when it should have only been £5 at most absolute joke and I do not recommend them to anyone at anytime anymore horrible drivers which do not listen at all and most of the time unless your lucky to have that one nice driver that does listen to you.

Used this company a few times , but the past three times I have preferred a taxi at least an hour in advance , picking my lad up from nursery . They were 15 mins late whilst I was standing outside with my 3 year old lad in the rain, so I rang them up asked where it is , no apology just will be another 20 mins , so I asked why they took my booking at a certain time if they knew they would be late ? They just replied will be 20 mins . The phone staff are rude and horrible to deal with , they just expected me to stay standing outside in the rain with my 3 year old , this has happened 3 times , on each occasion they were exactly the same , their service was not provided and their attitude is shocking . Will never use this service again .
It’s a shame because when you actually get picked up the drivers are really good .
Taxis are their to provide a service on time, if they were waiting for us for 2 mins they would just go so they shouldn’t expect customers to wait for them either . This company does not provide the service you need . Shocking .

Unreliable, and they often lie.

Awful company. I've never had an on time taxi.

They often cancel taxis if you book on the app.

I've not used Abba for a very long time due to their poor reliability, but recently I had to use them as no other company could take my booking to catch a train (booking two hours in advance). I ordered the taxi 30 minutes earlier than I needed it.

They still hadn't arrived 90 minutes after the due time, in three phone calls they said 5 more mins, 15 more mins... All whilst I was figuring out how to get the next train... and I had to use another company in the end, and cancel. I was two hours late for an event.

Being honest and stating you have to call closer to the time you need one for them to know where their drivers are would be better. I could've used another company and only been 20 minutes late.

Truly terrible.

Wouldn’t even give them a single star rating.
Dreadful, unprofessional, and unreliable. The booking process was painful and I had to repeat myself. Awful communication skills and complete incompetence.
I waited a couple of days, and called to confirm the booking. It wasn’t even made!!! Apalling service and won’t be using them again.
I have now been recommended another local taxi firm who I have booked with. First impressions are excellent and I just know they won’t be letting me down.

Our family has been let down by Abba cars repeatedly. Last night, having booked 2 taxis to take us to a restaurant 2 days in advance we were left stranded. We were checking the app from about 15 mins before the due time and the taxis were showing as not dispatched which was concerning us a little. Then at 2 minutes past the booking time, the app showed the taxis as cancelled. We rang immediately and were told we were a no show. I fail to see how this was the case as we were all ready and waiting and checking the app. We were told we would have to wait another 30 mins for a taxi. That’s strange as surely there must have been 2 empty taxis less than 2 minutes away! Anyway, our first special night out after lockdown ended up with me having to drive two journeys to get us all to the restaurant, the second group being 20 mins late and then two journeys to get us all home at the end of the night and no celebratory drinks for me. This company has been so unreliable repeatedly. I need to find a taxi company in Warrington who can actually deliver the service they advertise.

Booked a taxi tobtake my dog to the vets and when he arrived said oh k dont allow dogs in my taxi.now i know some dont but i clearly stated when booking it what i wanted the taxi for so they should of told me this info then.instead i had to phone another taxi company who took me no problems also had to phone the vets and get my dogs appointment rearranged all in all not a good experience and i wont be using them again

I used this company on Friday night , the taxis firm was ok apart from being late , the taxi was clean but the driver was so smelly I had to open the back windows I couldn't breath

To give this service 1 star is generous. Dispatched the taxi half an hour after it was due to collect me...and there was no traffic on the road. Missed my booked train. Rang up and given zero explanation. Had to buy two train tickets in the end. Shocking really as the journey was a 7 minute journey.

Used this taxi firm on many occasions mainly to or from local airports and always been satisfied with their service. Cars are clean and the drivers proficient, safe and prompt and always meet or beat the price quoted by the office.

If there were a no star option I’d choose that. The taxi was booked a week in advance to collect a party from a wedding, and simply didn’t arrive. On calling, the handlers just hung up. Never, ever use this company. Please!

PLEASE DO NOT EVER USE THIS TAXI FIRM especially if you have children or just need to rely on a car service. We pre-booked a 7 seater taxi to take home our young children on a Saturday night (booked 2 days in advance) and it did not ever arrive. After receiving a text to say the cab was on its way, it did not show. Even more frustratingly when we called to chase up the late car the call handlers were unbelievably rude and simply told us that maybe we should try a local cab firm. Even after we told them we have young children to get home. It upsets me how shockingly appalling the service from this company has been.

I am only rating one star because i have no option to rate less. I ordered a taxi at new year for two taxis, only one came. The taxi driver was nothing but rude and told me "it's not my problem". We then rang the taxi company and were spoken to by a really rude woman who hung up on us.

I will never ever book a taxi again with Abba cars because after hearing the disgusting stories of locking girls in cars and turning off the location, disgraceful that this has happened on multiple occasions. My mum was unaware of this situation and booked me a taxi home the other day, to which i made her quickly decline the booking because i wouldnt be getting in one of their taxis with men who clearly can't be trusted ever. And i highly push anyone else to take care of themselves and their safety and do the same.

My experience with ABBA was brilliant. My driver turned up within 5 minutes of booking. On entering the taxi it was clean and my driver Bob was the perfect driver. Drivers of our local taxi in Newton le Willows are rude and offend the nose! Well done ABBA. Keep up the good work and give Bob White employee of the month ??

Easy to book a taxi, why take a booking if you can’t keep to your times , our taxi was 1 hour and 30 mins late coming home, I was being told it was on its way and it hadn’t even been despatched out, rang up to complain and the excuse was we was busy , don’t take bookings if you have too much work , please avoid this company.

Pity i can't give a 0 star rating, taxi booked as a return for 12am, the outward journey at 6:30pm. Outward journey arrived but one scruffy taxi and driver who didn't know where he was going or which route to take, got there eventually tho £12 within Warrington boundaries when it's only £26 to manchester airport is just laughable.

The return was an absolute disgrace, kept ringing them from 12am, being told by recorded message taxi was booked and on its way, ignored these messages and was told by operators that driver there by 12:40 and would text me - never happened, finally got an abba cab around 2am, not convinced it was mine, driver could barely speak English.

Abba/Harrys just seems to have degenerated to use anyone who can drive irrespective of command of English or promises re turning up when booked.

I've always tipped in the past, going forwards i will simply pay the far i've agreed as very little alternatives in warrington

Never had a problem with ABBA cars. They always turn up when they say and ring if yhey’ll Be a little late. Great to have a service that you can rely on. Even when they’re struggling Through trafffic to pick you up from a concert!! Thanks will definitely use again

Worst nightmare with Abba cars. Left my Samsung phone in one of the taxis. Called customer services and was told we were last passengers for the day,so they shldnt be any issues. So they couldn't call driver since he had finshed work and they didn't have his details as he's self employed. So had to wait all day today coz they had said the driver would come in later today and ask him if he found anything. My friend called first at the time they had said the driver would be in,since she was the one who had made the booking. She was told the driver was in office and confirmed he didn't find any phone, though he did " another job" after he dropped us off. I called later again to find out what was happening exactly and this time was told driver was off duty but they had called to check with him on his private number and he had confirmed he never found anything. On one hand they're telling my friend something else different from what they told me. We don't know now which is which. The staff working on tonite 30 December so rude, no customer service at all. Was even told it's not their problem it is mine since I'm the one who left the phone after all, it is.my responsibility. I've left items in taxis before and find them but was always treated with respect.

Appalling booked a car to take my wife and myself home after a 50th birthday party at the Brooklands for 12.45pm. Made sure we stood outside at a few minutes before time so as not to miss the car. at 1pm I phoned twice only to given a pre recorded message "we now have a new office near Level42" lets be honest who cares what new office they have when I, have to ring my son at 1.15am to come and pick us up. Had to get him out of bed to do this. Totally a shambollic attitude having to go through that experiance and being cut off twice. WILL I USE AGAIN VERY, VERY DOUBTFUL

Worst firm ever. They just failed to show up to pick my family up after an all night flight. The operator was some skanky kid who tried to claim the driver had spoke to me on the phone then when I said he hadn't spoken to.me he called me a liar

Truly the worst taxi company I've ever used. I had booked my taxi a week in advance of our journey, however the taxi was still 40 minutes late arriving. I rang once the taxi was 20 minutes late to be told that even with an advance confirmed booking that a taxi is only despatched when a customer phones up, so what is the point in booking I ask myself. Surely as a taxi firm they have only two , get a car to me on time and then transport me to my destination. You may think that the delay was due to some unavoidable traffic problem, however on our return journey, again pre booked this taxi was also 20 minutes late despite it being 11:30pm. My advice use anybody but this firm.

No to the previous review. It's a systemic issue and must be due to leadership.
They have all the tech needed with apps and number rrxognition but for the 5th time running we are between 30 and 45 mins late for a off peak pick up given 6 hours before.
No call or text to notify. When calling absolutely no apology.
It's like they are oblivious of any sort of customer empathy or goodwill.
Leadership issues for sure and it's not the drivers faults at all.
Control don't care and it's various people on several occasions.
All the feedback is not rants but evidence.

considering abba have now over 320 cars in warrington surely someone is getting a taxi on time ? this just seems to be a rant blog of one star reviews is there any unbiased users out there as I am form out of town and will be working in warrington shortly /and need to use a reliable service.

Dreadful 'priority' service booked on App yesterday- now over one hour late with no explanation, apology or any idea of whether they'll turn up or not.
Left in the middle of Cheshire with useless pile of nonsense on the end of the line. Twice told they're on the way- nothing but lies.

Appalling. We are a company that use Abba to transport our carers/clients to any appointments.
Yesterday a carer taking a client for an hospital appointment left their works phone in one of the taxi's. They rang our office straight away to report where the company phone was. Called Abba on numerous occasions and was told they had contacted the driver who kept saying the phone wasn't in his cab. Our carer used an app from their friends phone called "Find my phone" and the phone was found at the drivers property.

To say their website states they are "Warrington's leading premier private hire taxi service" and a fleet of "200 vehicles", in my opinion is a gross understatement to say the least. I found this company to be unprofessional, incompetent, untruthful with communication, not to mention entirely unhelpful resulting in us missing our pre-booked event (at a combined cost of £180 to us) by over an hour. If could give less than no stars on this review I would.

I am still waiting for taxi which is over half an hour late and I am in danger of missing flight to spain.
The rude woman on reception put the phone down on me saying it wasn't her fault.
Abba are now dragging Harry's down since taking over to their abysmally low level.
Terrible firm and I will never use them again and would strongly recommend the same to anyone else.
I said that of Abba and now they own Harry's

I am still waiting for my taxi to the airport which is nearly half an hour late already. I am waiting in the cold to save time when it arrives. Since Abba took over Harry's they are operating at Abba's poor and deteriorating standards.
The very rude lady who manned the phone put it down on me and said it wasn't her fault.

Not even worth 1 star, don't even know how they are still going, always late and sometimes don't even show up. Have to ring 10 times to see where the taxi is, it's a joke!!

I had to catch a train and pre booked a taxi and it was 25 mins late so I rang 3 separate times and I was told the "shut the f*** up and stop ringing" even though my taxi was 25 minutes late and missed my train, no apology no money back, they just don't care about their customers.

The only reason why people get them is because there's so many of them about their like flys around s*** in Warrington can't get away from them.

Would love to see them go out of business their absolutely disgusting, rude on the phone and offer terrible service, would love to see über come to Warrington and shut them down.... idiots

Cheap taxi service, but what annoys me the most is the taxi driver who was speaking on the phone the entire ride I did not feel safe in the van he was driving with one hand. Driving way too fast over speed bumps which made me jump up in my seat which resulted in an unplesand dicomfort of my insides jumping up nearly coming out off my mouth.

Had to give one star because it won't let me put zero. Same as the other reviews on here - rubbish taxi company who have let me down 3 times now. First 2 times they made me miss trains and cost me over £200 in train tickets that were wasted by their incompetence. Yesterday, booked them for a set time. 10 mins after the agreed time, I rang: 'Two minutes' said the voice on the telephone. 10 minutes later (just about to miss another train): 'He'll be with you very soon'. "When?" I asked. 'Within 5 minutes'. "Really? Where is he now" 'Can't tell you that - Data Protection Act'. What nonsense - do they think we're thick? Told them to cancel it and their phone was cut off half way through my sentence. Incompetent, arrogant and rude. Fortunately a neighbour stepped in and got me to the station just in time. Absolutely WON'T be using them again.

Never ever use this company do not waste your money go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle, they do not show up when booked when you call to ask where the cab is its just round the corner but still it does not turn up. You will miss whatever it is you are going see or to do as they will not come and pick you up. Please boycott this shambles of a business and spend your money and enjoy a taxi ride with another company. This company is a disgrace.

Shame I had to even give this rubbish taxi company a star!!!
Would never recommend this taxi company to anyone! Booked the taxi hours before for 11am (so I was early for a bey important interview) at 11:01 I rung just to confirm the taxi was booked, he assured me it was and that it was on its way. A few mins later get my "call back" to let me know taxi was on its way went outside to wait and by 11:11 it still hadnt showed so rung and spoke to a girl who said it had turned up at 11:03 and waited 8 mins (which would have been 11:11, funny as I was on the phone to her and it was not here) and I said I was going to be late for my interview and she said she would get it re sent. Waited even longer, 11:16 still hadnt showed so rung again, told it was high priority and hung up on, very rude!!... 11:25, still not turned up! By this point I was so upset and worked up about being late for my interview burst out crying and went into the house to calm down... Eventually 11:31 a taxi turns up!! BUT parks on the wrong side of a very busy road, not out side my house, and not even opposite it was on the corner outside a shop!!! I was so wound up and worked up I didn't bother going out!! Rung to complain and they again insisted the first taxi turned up right outside my house!! Unless I'm blind or it was a ghost taxi it defo was not there! They then said the 2nd taxi waited right outside my house to which I replied "what other the wrong side outside a shop is outside my house" to which the operator said oh sorry. idiots who work here and such a terrible unorganised and uncaring taxi company!!

Booked a taxi a day in advance for 11am I had a confirmation email at 10.30am reminding me of my booking. It got to 11.20am I rang up and asked where my taxi was the gentleman said 5-10 mins, 40 mins later I rang and they said oh we will send one now so I got a text message to say my taxi was in its way. 5 mins later a lady rang me saying she can't get one to me I missed work and was stuck at home DONT ISE THIS SERVICE APPALING ??

One star is a lot, would give no stars at all if it was possible. I booked a taxi to pick me up at the train station at midnight when I was arriving from a business trip. Booked it a week in advance, on the day I called them to confirm, and they even sent me an email reminding me about the booking. After waiting for 10 minutes I called to check what was going on and all they said is they would send a taxi once they had an available car so when I asked what was the point of booking it in advance they hung up on me. I waited 10 more minutes and called again and got the exact same response. I waited 5 more minutes and decided to walk home. I am a woman and had to walk over a mile through poorly illuminated footpaths to be able to get home at midnight thanks to the appalling service of this taxi firm. Will never use it again and would not recommend to anybody.
Non existing service from drivers and extremely rude phone operators.

A truly terrible service. Taxis never show up on time and the App is useless. The staff on the phone are rude and obnoxious. This company has some of worst reviews as it constantly lies to customers regarding the whereabouts of their 'cars' and doesn't understand the concept of business. Warrington Council is shameful in that it doesn't revoke their licence.

THIS SO CALLED TAXI FIRM DO NOT MERIT AND DESERVE TO HAVE A LICENCE TO OPERATE, WBC SHOULD NOT RENEW IT.
I wish I had read reviews before contacting and booking a taxi with this inept taxi firm. Every review website I've looked at since my bad experience (i.e despite booking sufficiently in advance, taxi turned up 20 mins late and missed train as a consequence) has a common rating and review, AVOID, USELESS, TERRIBLE, DISGRACEFUL, UNRELIABLE to name but a few. They clearly don't read and or listen to such customer reviews and learn from them but obviously prefer to ignore, not a sustainable business model.

If you care for the safety of your children, DO NOT use this firm. Parking illegally and in a dangerous spot, the driver then decided to sit and complete paperwork, blocking the crossing for the children getting to the school and blocking the road for the teachers and parents who were trying to get access.

When he finally raised his head, oblivious to the havoc he was causing, he then decided to perform a 3 point turn, rather than follow the one way system that any normal person manages.

When contacted about this behaviour, the firm were not interested in the slightest. Shocking.

I urge parents throughout Warrington to consider the safety of their children and avoid this company.

Avoid this company. Absolutely disgraceful service. I pre-booked a taxi for 13:15 to take us from our hotel to a wedding. On the day, there was no sign of the taxi so I phoned them at 13:20 to see where it was. After a long wait for my call to be answered, I was spoken to by an extremely rude woman who said they were waiting for cars to be available. I asked how long that might be and reminded them that we had a wedding to get to. She abruptly told me she didn't know and couldn't do anything about it and hopefully it would be 10 minutes. So we waited 15 minutes, and having received no phone call to update us on any delay, my husband had to drive us to the wedding venue to ensure we didn't miss the service. It's just as well we did that. After we came out of the service, I had a look at my phone and could see that there were several texts and missed calls from the taxi company. The first one 14:20, telling me the car was on the way. The next at 14:35 telling me the car had arrived. And another at 14:40 telling me the driver was trying to locate us. Given that the wedding service was at 14:00 and our taxi was booked for 13:15 (a 4 mile journey), did they really expect us to hang around for 1 hour and 25 minutes and miss the wedding? This company offers an appalling level of service where time keeping and customers are of little priority.

Well what can i say apart from this company impractical , unachievable , pointless , nugatory yep a waste of space .Abba`s top 5 taxi hits ;1 x "gimme gimme gimme" a taxi ffs ( not a chance with abba taxi`s )2 x "Ring Ring" because that`s all you`ll ever do with abba taxi`s as they don`t turn up !3 x "So Long" yes it really does take this long for an abba taxi to even turn up at all if your lucky 4 x "Should I Laugh or Cry" sort of says it all for abba taxi`s5 x "S.O.S" yes because after they don`t show it`s all you can do

Absolutely appalling. Booked a taxi at 1.30 for a 7.05pm pick up to do a 1.5 mile trip. After four phone calls and excuses about being stuck in traffic ( that time on a Saturday evening!) it eventually showed up at 8.30pm. Then even managed to miss either of the turns he could have taken, apparently due to "looking at the wrong SAT NAV" But it was ok as he could still charge for his mistakes. Would never use again.

Phone app is a good idea...but when you don't turn up until 45 minutes after the pick up time, leaving people stood outside for a prolonged amount of time is not acceptable. You are putting people in very vunerable positions, and it seems to be completely disregarded. After ringing up I was asked if I still wanted the taxi, staff were rude and taxi driver rude when picking up after driving past me! if you cant fulfill the request then don't accept it on the app!

Phoned Abba cars at 10:30am, notifying I had to attend a meeting at 2pm, thus come at 1:30pm and not to be late. Phoned at 1:30, lady said car is just round the corner. At 1:40 I was starting to get worried so phoned again, the reply was that he was on the road where i was. At 1:45 I phoned, was furious, she said he is in a red Skoda on the roundabout. At 1:50 I had to get a work colleague to take me. When I returned from my meeting my work colleagues said the driver showed up at 2:10pm, I was speechless.
Not only are they competent liars, they are useless considering the fact it wasn't peak hours. I would never trust them if you need a flight to catch, you would in all probability miss your flight.

Shocking company...The council seriously needs to reveiw this companys future,Rude drivers ,No customer service,Some cars stink of smoke and are filthy,Time keeping,well thats just something else!!!??
Foreign drivers who dont know the directions to most places in warrington unless postcode is provided which isnt always possible..
Shocking shocking shocking...Avoid if possible..????????

Booked a taxi for 8 am the person had to be in work for 8.30 am.He had to be in work for 8.30 am rand at 5 past 8 and then 15 minutes past 8 and told the driver was stuck on Bridge foot and would be on the causeway soon as there was traffic. The taxi still haven't arrived at 25 past so rang them back and was told he was on station road and then on to wash lane completely different way to what I had been told and finally the taxi arrived 35 minutes late making the person late for work. This firm is absolutely unreliable and useless if a taxi is booked for a specific time they should send one out at least 10 mins before its due to arrive then it might get to the pick up at the time it is actually needed. The staff on the phones were polite but overall some of the drivers are so thick it's amazing they even become taxi drivers as the one who picked up the fare had a thick expression on his face when told where the customer needed dropping off almost as if he didn't know where it was. I will never use them again

I have given this company plenty of chances. In the last 2 weeks I have used the App four times. Even though booking confirmed and on 1 occasion I called the office to check the taxi would be on time it has failed to turn up on time 3 out of the four times!!! Today I booked a 6 seater no taxi when I arrived at the station not even dispatched and when I called the office they didn't even have a 6 seater in the road !!! Lucky enough able to get a Direct Taxi for 6 from Bank Quay - where my pickup was scheduled for! Not Impressed - shocking service!

My taxi didn"t come to pick me up from my work yeaterday. I have booked taxi at 8pm for 11.20pm .At midnight my taxi did not come :( I have rang to office but they did not want to listen me because of my accent because I am foreigner .I am using taxi from ABBA Cars 2,3 times per week. It makes me sad:(,but who cares ......I am very disappointed .....

Being a regular customer of ABBA cars, I have experience worst day today. It was the worse person I have ever seen in my life in the service industry.He himself decided take a long route excusing it with long traffic queue without my consent. On reaching the destination he asked for a higher fare which I refused to pay as I am a regular customer and have all the receipts on a daily basis. He threatened me to charge me for the waiting time till the time he calls his company and get this resolved. When the company did not support him as well, he threatened again to take me back from where he picked me and locked the car. When I told him that I am calling the police, he unlocked the car. However, as soon as I stepped out of the car to count the change, he became furious, came running from the drivers side and tried to manhandle me and got physical uttering swear words. As I didn't want to create a scene in front of my office I have left with no option but to pay the fare. What a way to start a day. Request you all to be safe and avoid boarding this cab if you can.

My 16 year old daughter booked them three days before New Years Eve, they didn't show up on the night. I don't have an option for a zero rating which is all you deserve. Don't depend on these cowboys.

I ordered a taxi from this company at 3pm for 12am and the taxi never showed leavin me n my friend at a bar in padgate whilst abit tipsy we are two teenage girls and believe the taxi never showed because when we ordered it we sounded young which they may have misunderstood for a prank call but as a matter of fact we waited 20 minutes for it to show it was very cold outside and they said to us on the phone that if we was not there they will give my number to the police I think we should do the same as they did not show at all.

Can only endorse the other reviews. Booked days in advance, confirmed with them that the car was on its way (staff were very far from friendly). Had to leave when it was 20 mins late. Missed my train. Certainly will never use again.

If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Always late by half an hour or more even if booked a day in advance !!! That's if they turn up at all....in the past they have text me an hour after booking to say sorry can't make it.

Shocking ...never using again ...would rather walk.

Poor service, wouldn't even give one star!!
Call centre staff are completely rude and unhelpful, I have evidence using track vehicle app that the car was in the wrong place and was accused of being a liar, then when I took exception to this and expressed my disapproval I had the phone slammed down on me!! Never been treated so rudely .....
Extremely poor customer service!!! Looking at all the reviews on here you need to get some new office staff before you go out of business!!
Drivers usually always helpful and apologetic (usually coz they are late due to poor office management and co-ordination) even the drivers criticise the office staff!! Not enough vehicles for the jobs being accepted most of the time!!
Usually use this company regularly but time for a change!! I have also logged a formal complaint with the WBC.

Appalling service, use another firm. I booked an early morning taxi to take me to the station. It arrived over 30 minutes late, so I missed my train and had to buy replacement train tickets. Of course my request for a refund for the cost of the extra tickets has been refused. Apparently you should book your taxi one hour early to allow for the taxi arriving 30 - 40 minutes late.The staff treat customers with utter contempt.

Wouldn't let me change the rating but its half a star. DO NOT USE THIS TAXI COMPANY! they are always late i pre order my taxi and for more then 10 times they have been 1hour late which means i am late for work! You ring them and they say there on there way or there going to 10 mins but never are. Ridiculous! Use Harrys much more reliable!! Abba you are useless!

All I can say is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! rang and booked a taxi at 5.30am for a pick up at 7.45am to take my son to work (he had to be in work for 8.30am).There was ,no taxi here at 8am, so I rang to see if taxi was on way I was told that the taxi was doing a drop just round the corner in Grapenhall and would be with us in 5 mins max , still no taxi here at 8.15am so I rang back to be told that they were short on drivers and the taxi was doing another drop in Latchford (2 miles away) and will be with us in 10mins but give some time for traffic(the reason I booked for taxi to pick up at 7.45am)maybe I should have booked for 7am and they would have been here on time .taxi finally turned up at 8.35am.. So THANKS ABBA!! Why take the booking in the first place if you knew you never had enough cars on the road to cover all bookings taken ....

Lousy service. Booked 4 days in advance, double checked day before to re confirm. Taxi booked for 11:30 pm eventually one arrived at 1:00 am, 90 minutes late. Phoned several time to be told on his way, then none available. Made formal complaint on Monday , Wednesday chased as no response , Friday chased as no response , Monday chased again. Does the so called taxi Marshall exist.
Do not use the company, they do not car, use small independents instead.

I cannot praise this company enough, I use their cars quite alot but today they were wonderful, especially the people operating the phones. My son had been knocked off his bike and I needed to get him to hospital, when I phoned the rank the woman I spoke to was so helpful and calming, the driver arrived quickly and was lovely too.
THANK YOU FOR BEING SO HELPFUL TO ME AND MY SON.

I had friends travel 2 hours to go on a night out. They arrived on time at 5pm and I had booked a taxi for 5:45pm having given Abba an hours notice. At 6pm I rang Abba to check where the car was to be told they were busy and that a car would be with me at 7pm. Not that they were going to call me and let me know this in advance of my 6pm restaurant reservation. They are a disgrace and will not get any more business from me.

Booked taxi four hours before due, as I had an important Dr's appointment to get to (allowed 40minutes) only for it.to not turn up, when I called the advisor.was rude and arrogant! I don't.mind busy periods but I was specific.that I needed it.and that if there was a problem to call me straight away!! Will never use again

What a disgraceful Company.
Ordered a Taxi at 5pm for 8pm.................................No Show.
Rang them at 8-15pm..............they said 'you are 3rd in line, they will pick you up after they have dropped off.'
Rang again at 8-30 to cancel (now missed my appointment)

How hard can it be?
I gave them enough notice.
Maybe as I was only travelling about 5 miles, they decide to pick and choose only the fares with the greatest financial return.
When you phone they give the most feeble responce ' Oooo, hes just coming now'' , They treat you like a complete idiot.
Maybe I am for useing ABBA?

What a joke this taxi company is!! Order a taxi at 11pm for 1am and it doesn't turn up. Ring 5-6 times and they say a taxi is on their way. Ring up again at 2am and tell me that I have to order another taxi. Then hang up on me because I asked should I try another firm. What a disgrace abba cars are!!! I would advise to try any other company under the sun before this one. Clearly they are not bothered about their reputation when they treat customers like this. They have not messed up once but get a different answer each time I rang up. Stay well clear of this taxi company if you have to be anywhere in time. This isn't the first time either!

ABSOLUTE JOKE! Booked a taxi at half past 6 to arrive in Manchester at 11.00 clock got old the price would be 26.50 to go to warrington! Rig up at 11.10 to find out where my taxi is - to be told we will despatch it now!!!!! Waited 1 hour (a young girl alone) to be then told it is past midnight so your taxi fare is now £35! DISGRACEFUL! Will only ever use Harry's now at least they have the decency to let you know!

I always use abba cars, not any more. I get a taxi at least 3 times a week that costs £5.80 to my destination. I have just been charged £8.80 for the same trip, I will not use these again, keep the extra £3.00 you have lost much more...well done.

I called to book a six seater for Sat evening and was told that was no problem and I didn't need to pre book my return journey as I could ask for one at the time.
On Saturday a standard taxi came (for 6 of us) followed by another taxi. I spoke to a call handler (eventually using a different number from the one I booked on as they have an automated system which told me my car was due) who was extremely rude and that I would not have been promised a six seater. I explained that I would not have booked 2 cars! The call was extremely poorly handled.
We took the 2 cabs as we didn't want to be late and the taxi drivers were great and very understanding.
I will not use them again. We called direct for our return journey who turned up promptly with a six seater - yeyy

As with all reviews on this site, I've been constantly let down by Abba Cars. Every time the cab is 5-20mins late and even with phone calls to chase up the answer is always the same "Just called one, it's on its way - 10-15mins wait" even after pre-booking hours before.
Switched to Direct and they've been 5mins early the last few times with a text message to let me know when they've arrived. That's the sort of service you need.

We have used ABBA cars for a number of years on a regular basis, during the last 3-4 months I have found them becoming more unreliable. I pre-book my journey's the evening before and expect the taxi to turn up at the confirmed time, usually I am taking a flight or a train long distance so timing is critical.
During the last 2-3 weeks every taxi I have ordered has been late, today was just unacceptable, the taxi was 20 minutes late even after pre-booking and several phone calls and I only made my train by 2 minutes. Thanks to the driver who took my complaining well and pulled all the stops out to get me to the station.
I will now use an alternative company and suggest ABBA cars pull their socks up or they won't have a business, looking at all the negative feedback.

This taxi company is a joke!! Thanks to this company I missed an important doctors appointment. Why not just say there are no taxis available for the time I asked for instead of making me wait about for a taxi that isn't even going to turn up! I could have gone else where such as Harrys or Direct they are far better and atleast tell the truth when taxis are not available! I will never be ordering from this company again as it is NOT the first time something like this has happened! I was a loyal customer and ordered from here regular but never again, i'am so frustrated with this company it is unbelievable

On Friday 5th July, we booked a 7 seater for a return journey, to take us from Padgate to The Ferry Tavern at Penketh on Saturday, picking us up at 12:30pm.

At 12:30 ABBA called to say they didn't have a 7 seater but would get someone (maybe 2 cabs) to us. At 12:50 a 7 seater mini van turned up, they'd got him from another company.

Our return journey was booked for midnight but the event we were at finished earlier, at 11 o clock so we called ABBA and asked if there was a chance of an earlier taxi. They said no, but to wait where we'd arranged....which we did.

At 12:00am we called again and was told the taxi would be with us in 15 mins. Yes, you've guessed it........no taxi!! We called again to be told they had no booking but could send two cabs that would arrive in 15 to 30 mins.

Luckily we were able to flag down a couple of local cabs but by this time it was 12:45.

ABBA you are a despicable taxi company who unfortunately (I wonder if it's by honest practice) have cornered the market in Warrington. Competition in the form of a professional taxi company is badly needed here, then we would never, ever need to use you again!

Having used Abba Cabs for the last 14 years I have never been so disgusted with the way I was spoken too in my life. Having booked a cab that ended up being just shy of 30 minutes late, making me late for an important event (having booked in advance) I was told by the rudest switchboard assistant that if I didn't just wait for my cab It would be cancelled. After explaining that my question of where exactly is the cab and how long will it be he replied "you can walk to the lane and check the traffic if you like...I don't care if your a regular all our customers are treated the same way (obviously poorly), and you can speak to the boss"...because he obviously couldn't have cared less. Wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.

Terrible Service. Taxi booked in advance eventually came 50 minutes late. When I rang up when it was 15mins late I was told the job had been picked up and the taxi was on its way. I rang again 15mins later and was told they were still waiting to find me a car. I wish they would just tell you when you book that they're not going to be able to make it rather than lying.

The worst taxi company I have ever had the pleasure to use, they continually lie to you about how long for a cab and then when you ring up when its late they continue to lie...obviously not trained in customer service nor do they appear to care
